Can you say that to learn how to trade is like to learn how to drive a car (maybe a plane if car looks too simple) and evolving nature of market is like changing landscape/road outside your car? Or it's more like doing archery with changing wind?
For me it was a case of slowly waking up, deprogramming, seeing things as they really are and replacing authority as truth with truth as authority.
If the car is your tools for trading, then it is more that you use another tool in different markets. Like using a bike for short distance or using a motorcycle for sunny day's and use an airplane because you can not get there over land.
I would say, it’s like you are playing poker. You bet on your money. You calculated risks. You skip when it’s to risky. You risk when you want to get a big one. You can lose a lot, you can win too. You use your brain and experience to win. When you green you win !!!
Learning how to trade is nothing like those things. With those things you enter your risk in a controlled environment. And with proper planning, you can adjust in a reasonable amount of time. With trading? No. All it takes is one tweet and the winds go from calm to hurricane in an instant That doesn't happen with the other bits.
learning to trade is like - run every day, every night for many months in order to go for Olympics running competition - master skill worker making rare CCCCC diamond AND - surgeon changing hearts It is definitely not like driving car. It is definitely not like archery !!!!! archer aims for 100% accuracy. Traders CANNOT and MUST NOT aim for 100% accuracy. Traders aim for 60% accuracy only.
