Everyday expirations coming to the SPX

The CBOE announced they are planning on listing Tuesday and Thursday expirations in the SPX. With the current MWF weekly's this would make everyday an expiration day.

Coming in 2nd or 3rd quarter subject to regulatory approval.

Wow, this is great news. Fantastic! I'm in strong need of SPX option expirations for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

0DTE SPX options are best for day trading if you can handle them. Huge leverage, but time decay is an issue for OTM SPX options the closer the end of session comes. That is the difference to Futures and the spread is much bigger. But during the last weeks there were days when 2000$ could turn to 9000$ with one option.

 

And soon all the excitement will die off as everyone complains of what they believe to be rip-off fees.
