Strange.... Why keep on looking for stocks that are bleeding badly, and are near death? Don't worry about evo problem. Let evo CEO take care of evo funeral. Traders cannot short it as it is too late to Short it. Traders cannot long it as they don't do counter trend trading You should focus on stocks that have trading opportunities
@maxinger, the posting is about "EVA in trouble", not saying to trade it. Ie. it's similar to the NYCB of yesterday
Could you please look for stocks that are starting to go up starting to go down? ie at the early stage of the trend. Then there might be trading opportunities.
I actually do exactly that! I specialize on options of stocks with "High ATM IV" (ie. its ATM IV already is at the "top", can barely rise any further). EVA belongs to that group. Of course stocks with such high ATM IV have something going on, otherwise they would not have such high ATM IV. Some of them are unfortunately troubled and on the brink of bankruptcy, like EVA Btw, I prefer SmallCaps with small stock prices (< $10 or so).
Ie. this is about trading the volatility of the stock (via its options), not the stock price itself See also https://optionstradingiq.com/how-to-trade-volatility/
