Need anymore evidence that liberals are fucked up people? I now present eunice the uterus and her cowboy campadre. :D

So apparently there’s a uterus puppet going around the country making videos about abortion clinics and lack thereof. Yes, there’s a puppet named Eunice, and she’s a sad uterus.

Hans Johnson from JillStanek.com found this great little gem and we just had to share. He wrote:

In the “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” category comes a video called “The Abortion Desert.” Taking a cue from the idea of “food deserts” - a lack of urban grocery stores – the abortion lobby group Lady Parts Justice nervously brings attention to the dwindling number of abortion clinics.

For a serious subject, it’s an oddly sophomoric presentation (produced by Lizz Winstead, the formerly comedic co-creator of The Daily Show) which features a uterus puppet and a shirtless Chippendales dancer… er, “cowboy.”

They claim to be “a national movement using humor & outrage to remove bodily autonomy-hating local politicians in 2014 & beyond.” Failing at both, they are being bested by many pro-life groups that find nothing funny in this, and balance their outrage with caring for both mother and child (does that make us “Baby Parts Justice”?

The video clip shows Eunice the Uterus making the “hard journey” between the western borders of Idaho to eastern borders of North and South Dakota, trying to find an abortion clinic. (You can count the number of them on two hands.) In the video, Eunice “traces the steps so many have been forced to take because of lack of community access, insurance or means. The journey of Eunice will show just how dangerous restrictive abortion laws are, and remind us that poor rural women and women of color are often forgotten by politicians and always are the ones to suffer the most when access to affordable health care is removed from vulnerable areas."

If you haven’t heard of Lady Parts Justice, you aren’t alone. From their Mission Statement:

Lady Parts Justice is the first not safe for work, rapid response reproductive rights messaging hub that uses comedy, culture and digital media to get people off their asses and reclaim their rights.

And, if you are so inclined, they even have a Retail page where you can buy some really awesome Lady Parts merchandise!

    – “You are Not the Boss of V” t-shirt
    – Vegan lipstick in the color of blood red called “Justice”
    – Uterus charms
    – Vibrators
    – Handmade Eunice the Uterus Ornament
    – “Stylish” tote, a "V-tastic bag"

Unilever soap promotes abuse of women, according to change .org

Remove your 'flirty shades' Surf product from sale #boycottsurf

    Extreme Crochet
    Swindon, United Kingdom

I started this campaign after seeing an advert for Surf's Flirty Shades liquid. It glorifies and normalises abuse of women and is not appropriate to be sold as a laundry product. Laundry products should not be sexualised and children should be protected from seeing this. This product needs to removed from sale by Unilever ASAP and a public apology should be made to all of those women who have suffered abuse. Thank you kindly for you time and support.

I do laugh at the "food desert" reference.

Kroger closed two stores in southeast Raleigh and all of these community advocates were crying that it was a crime against the community and created a "food desert"

Why were these stores closed? Because they had the highest "shrinkage" rate of all the Kroger stores. For those who don't know what shrinkage is - basically the shoplifting and theft rate was sky high and these stores ran at a significant loss due to the non-stop theft.

Of course, no mainstream grocer was willing to go near Southeast Raleigh and take over these stores.

Naturally, the "community leaders" blamed the Kroger people, the government, and white man's oppression of them. They pointed the finger at everyone but themselves - never willing to accept that the continuous theft by everyone in the community drove the stores out of business.

This is why there are "food deserts".

the baby lives in the mother's body and she is the God of that universe and no man has any jurisdiction over that universe. Once the baby takes it's first breath of air, well, then it is just an ordinary citizen protected under the constitution like you or me.

So then only the mother can punish someone who injuries that baby in the womb?
You of course realize that of course not how it works... as the Federal Govt got involved in this issue.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unborn_Victims_of_Violence_Act

    Opposition[edit]
The Unborn Victims of Violence Act was strongly opposed by most pro-choice organizations, on grounds that the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision said that the human fetus is not a "person" under the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, and that if the fetus were a Fourteenth Amendment "person," then they would have a constitutional right to life. However, the laws of 38 states also recognize the human fetus as the legal victim of homicide (and often, other violent crimes) during the entire period of pre-natal development (27 states) or during part of the pre-natal period (nine states).[8] Legal challenges to these laws, arguing that they violate Roe v. Wade or other U.S. Supreme Court precedents, have been uniformly rejected by both the federal and the state courts, including the supreme courts of California, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.[9]

Some prominent legal scholars who strongly support Roe v. Wade, such as Prof. Walter Dellinger of Duke University Law School, Richard Parker of Harvard, and Sherry F. Colb of Rutgers Law School, have written that fetal homicide laws do not conflict with Roe v. Wade.[10]

A principle that allows language in a law to not conflict with Roe, which logically should trigger Roe’s “collapse” clause, was explained in Webster v. Reproductive Health Services, 492 US 490 (1989). Until such language becomes the basis for laws that specify penalties for abortion, the issue is not even before the court, of whether or not such language conflicts with Roe, and if so, which should be struck down.[11]

well, first of all, calling it a "fetus" is offensive. It is a baby. And yes, the only one who can kill it is the mother. It's laughable that you are citing Judges and governments when talking about something that is so obvious. If you want to talk about people that kill babies, why not talk about the people that invented the five gallon bucket? The judges and the governments will tell you who dunnit and who is guilty. And no, a fetus as you call it is not a citizen, and if I kill a pregnant woman I am only guilty of killing one person, and if the mother lives, that is a real human tragedy, and no business of yours, or the lawyers.

now if you want to get into a "logical argument" excuse me while I go to Harvard Law School
