Yeh sure. because the EU members are so happy with the way the EU handled the first part of the epidemic. It was every country for themselves- in regard to putting a border response together, in regard to medical advice and assistance, and in regard to financial assistance. Now that some countries have gone it alone and finally seeing some light - at a little- and are trying to get back to normal, let's see how they feel about the EU cutting off their supply of tourists. Just remember, Italy. The EU is lookin out for you. Let's see who ends out more pissed at Brussels. Its members of the U.S. Somehow I think the U.S. will get by. Every year the goes by the EU shows its death wish in a new way.

Don't buy all the propaganda. There was a lot of intra-EU help going on. The news disregarded EU internal aid and focused on Chinese aid because Chinese were loud and demanded attention. Much of the countries helping others in the EU had no press. For once, banning US travelers is a sensible decision. The numbers tell the story, opinion don't matter. In the EU cases and deaths have dramatically dropped, in the US new cases are still near all time high. Instead of everyone mouthing off in this thread about EU this and that. Numbers do the talking. Good for you Canucks, but tis’ easier to solve this problem..... no Americans give a flip about going to Canada unless they’re driving through it headed to Alaska.
Nevertheless we shall see whether the EU countries and local business owners versus the politicans are happy with the ban on American tourists. If you and they are happy that is fine. It often happens with this corona thing that when people have suffered enough from the economic decline that they find ways to start adjusting their high and mighty original positions. Some of them are probably still hoping to salvage part of their summer income. As I said, if they are all set, I am all set. If they are not, it is not the Americans that they will turn too. And yes, the Chinese seek to colonize some places when the virus is hitting hard and as the economic impact keeps people down and out.
Who really wants to go to Europe and deal with the huge number radical Islamists out to pillage, rape and kill you and your family? That is not my idea of a nice vacation. Vietnam might be a better destination and would treat you and your family like royalty. They appreciate tourists more than the snotty Europeans overrun by millions of dredges of society. No thanks.
