I can see how ETH is more favoured once they move over to PoS next week but without any impact on the fees I don't see how it can be practical
Most fees are close to free due to roll-ups and the use of transactions in bulk. That's why it costs you nothing to constantly play crypto games like Splinterlands, Gods Unchains, Dr. Who, etc. Even though your stats are constantly updated on chain. The problem is when you try to solo fees/transactions in themselves. Those will still be high until sharding starts to roll out. We could have had it by now, but people voted to have the consensus re-worked before sharding getting implemented.
