Same here, tried an 80KB image.

 

I have a real zinger of a meme I made as commentry on @Tony Stark's political nihilism, can't upload it, two minutes of my life wasted.

Nope that fails too, even with a link that shows the file extension.

Yep, totally a baby wookiee. The lighting and focus on the photo is neat, especially on the face, ears and chest fur. Makes it look like an oil painting.
