    Hello all,

I am interested to learn if any/many of you have experience with trading with a broker using Equinix infrastructure.

I've read positive things about the technology in regards to reduced latency and execution speeds and wanted to see if anyone has had positive/negative feedback.

I've researched brokers that use equinix and have narrowed down to two, Pepperstone and Yadix. Both have the conditions I am looking for to scalp successfully.

    Many thanks for feedback

equinix isn't a technology, it's a datacenter company. they rent rackspace (for servers/switches you provide) at facilities they manage across the country.

the only way you can make use of the latency reduction in an equininx facility is if you have at a minimum, all of the below:

    1) you're fully automated, and are hosting your servers there.
    2) the exchange is in the same facility (or very close).
    3) your firms network infrastructure (switches/cross-connects) are top quality.

if you're connecting via the internet and manually scalping, it really isn't going to matter.
