This email business is at this point a waste of time and money. It was worth looking into, as it would be a serious security breach to put classified documents on a less than secure server. Now, however, the emails have been reviewed, and the State Department, according to their spokesman, has determined that the few classified emails found on the Clinton Server were classified apparently quite recently, and not before they were received on the Clinton Server. Consequently, there is no breach to be prosecuted. And, as we all too well know, bad judgement alone will not land one in jail. Otherwise we'd all be in jail. The State Department certainly ought to know when something is classified as they are the ones who make the decision as to whether a document should be classified. Even employees with relatively low level responsibility can initiate the classification process. In government service it is extremely easy to get a document classified, and a difficult process to get it unclassified. Classification, in my experience, is used almost as much to cover up mistakes or potential embarrassments, as it is to hide information that someone wanting to do harm could use.
