The dems claim to be super concerned about the environment and "Climate Change". Along comes Elon Musk who has done more to fight this, and the democrat party hates him.

    Why is that?

Well because the democrats want to use "Climate Change" as a way to force Americans to make due with less and lower the standard of living. The leaders of the democrat care nothing about "Climate Change". They want a mechanism that allows them to control how people live, what kind of cars they drive, what they have the thermostat set to, what they eat, and what kind of possessions they have. There may be climate activist who are truly concerned but they activists really dont matter at all when it comes to Dem leadership. The dem leadership and their corporate donors fly around in private jets, living it up, so they can do important things like attending Barack Obama's birthday party.

Musk comes along and says "Hey I have solutions, and guess what, it does cause a negative impact to the standard of living, and in many ways it improves". Nothing has pissed off the democrats more than this.

The democrats push the "Climate Change" agenda as means to seize more and more power as they take and more sovereignty from the individual.

The House and Senate need to impeach and convict every activist federal judge.
The RICO act needs to be used against the Dems.
Coal burning China and India caused the climate change, tariff them for the cost.
Planned obsolescence is a waste of energy. Simple, durable and repairable products would cut energy needs in half.

Was it Socrates who told that democracy as a goverment is worst form of goverment ?

It is because people get elected by their words and smiles on election pictures and rarely based on their skills or actions.

Doesn't mean that such a person can't achieve great things, but to expect bunch of em to make life changing breakthrough innovations - naahh.

Sometimes it's good to have the power in one mans hands.

Plus the poorest 51% will vote to take the wealth of the top 49%.
With 0.1% of the top protected because they control who actually gets into power ie. which candidates everyone else gets to vote for.

Polar bear population booms amid global warming hysteria
the world polar bear population went from around 12,000 in 1965 to an estimated 26,000 last year. The trend is unmistakably positive.

  6. Not true.

I just looked at a chart of year over year polar bear population data. It showed them in serious decline.

Oh wait. I guess I had the chart upside down.

    MY BAD!

We have 14000 more polar bears then we had in 1965
This is horrible news for the seals

A polar bear needs to catch about 50 seals a year to survive.
Thats 700, 000 more seal being chewed and eaten alive each year

  8. Polar bears are beginning to recover nicely from several decades of over-hunting and poaching that was ignored along with lots of disputes about how many polar bears the native populations were allowed to take under various treaties, etc. etc. So I expect their numbers to continue to recover because it was not climate change that took them down.

Population encroaching into their areas is a problem too but that is not a CO2 problem.

The climate screamers say that XYZ negative things happening in the climate are a problem so therefore that must be the cause. Nope. If you want more polar bears deal with the known causes, while working on the theoretical ones that could be a factor someday. Climate change probably has some role in whale populations too but what seems to help the most is to get the Japanese to stop harpooning them and continuing to design fishing nets and lobster/crab pots with lines that lead to less entanglement.

I am not a climate change denier but I get tired of the lefties being totally depressed if something is attributed to something other than CO2 even if a non CO2 related solution is helping the species.

More polar bears = more farts, bad for greenhouse emissions. More lobster traps in Maine mean less pilot whales = bad for greenhouse emissions. More lobsters = more plankton consumption, which means more whales starve, which equals more lobster farts, which means more greenhouse emissions.

Dudes, yer screwed. There is nothing you can do to end the relentless cycle of greenhouse gas emissions and the destruction of the ecosphere, billions of years of the earth existing notwithstanding! It is all over! Eat beans, and fart away our existence NATURALLY, with plant-based foods, the way God intended!

  10. As I used to say when I lived in Maine - "if it is February in Maine and I had a chance to put my hand on the global thermostat, I would crank that puppy up to 82 degrees. If that causes the polar ice caps to melt and Micronesia goes under water, let them move. We are talking about my personal comfort." And if lobsters are a threat to the climate, well, I always do my part to reduce that threat.

You Southerners/Floridians take note that this is what a true lobster looks like. Not one of those little pussy spiny lobsters that you have. God did it right in Maine.
