I recognize that space travel is a risky business and creating new rockets & transportation are prone to development difficulties. However Elon's SpaceX efforts seems to involve many more complete explosions and disasters than the efforts of other companies. IMO he is bypassing even minimal risk and safety mitigation steps in a rush to move forward. At some point this is likely to cause a disaster on a grand scales such as one of the SpaceX rockets coming down fully ablaze in a suburban neighborhood.
Yeah don't get all the exploding rocket disasters. Sure, Nasa had a few in the early days but still, a bunch of guys with slide rules managed to put men on the moon 6 times in the 60s-70s. So much rocketry stuff has been done reasonably safely for decades (Challenger is tragic exception).
