Electronic Trading Group/Schonfeld

  1. When I interviewed at Electronic Trading Group I sat with a trader who attended the University of Chicago. One of the questions I asked him was why he chose not work at an investment bank. I signed the contract based on this interview however when I started work there was used furniture and the person in charge of my training had supposedly been out of the country with a warrant out for his arrest. In the compliance office there was a woman who had a fan on her desk to blow smoke away. She was pregnant and the person who sat in front of her smoked. Later someone from Harvard Business School became CEO. He was an individual who did not successfully make it through the training program. This meant the CEO of Electronic Trading Group failed in an attempt to make it as a trader. I am writing to you regarding the way the firm was presented to us and informing you that we signed a contract based on that first interview. Singer Pamela Kanter Luss was in charge of human resources. ETG has since been acquired by Schonfeld Securities.

  2. - arrest warrant
    - CEO who tried trading and failed
    - health and safety issues
    - no regards for a pregnant woman
    - singer in a hr manager position

Could Schonfeld be on the way down?
From these facts alone, I guess it would be best for traders to start looking to move before Schonfeld full descent.
Just shows how useful EliteTrader can be.

  3. A report has been filed with the FBI.

  4. It is always best to use the organization most likely to do a good job.
I wonder if some people are starting to understand that it is best to leave traders alone and not bother them.
