I'd like to know too. I'm trying to get into the industry here in Canada... specifically Powerex in Vancouver. It would be nice to find some reading material to devour and brains to pick.
90% of the info on electricity trading is on the ISO websites. Check out PJM, NYISO, Nepool, NYISO websites. There is a ton of training and reading material.
There's definitely some good info on the ISO sites. I used to work for ATCO Power in Calgary, http://www.cupil.com is a great site for seeing the real-time data about the Alberta market. (It is the offline backup of one of the real-time screens we used to use.) I'd love to trade info like that with other people to get some more info that is hard to find by using the search engines; it seems like there is so much junk to filter through... especially the get-rich quick schemes that are nothing but garbage. Good luck!
there are some very knowledgable guys in these forums in power and energy trading. I believe there was a thread a while back??
