I like your question but I don't like your options. I think Snowden's actions are a mixed bag. He's really made excessive spying a spotlight issue. But his side deals with our competitor nations can only relatively weaken us.
He isn't rotting. He has money and security given to him by Russian Federation. I suggest you look at modern Russia and how good life is in major cities. I don't know if you realize this but they are capitalists now, like US used to be.
he's certainly not a traitor in my book [there's no indication at all he did this other than to make us a more transparent country] we needed more transparency here in the US don't things generally go to extremes, and then have to be brought back to a center? marc
Snowden could possibly have approached this as a whistleblower, but had already seen how that's worked out for other whistleblowers. Snowden achieved what the left essentially claimed they wanted regarding the patriot act all along (especially during the Bush years), which may have been a factor in prior elections. Those who are now in power that currently feel otherwise have once again proven that old saying about lies and lips moving. Of course, they are claiming to act now that the level of spying has been exposed and it's constitutionality challenged. On the other hand, if he were to reveal names of operatives, he would be a traitor IMO. I guess it depends on the content leaked.
Stupid poll results so far. Too many commie liberals believe he aint a muzzie terrorist. I bet ya that he is either working for the Al-Quaeda folks in Iran or for the Ruskies.
