Easter Cancelled, Dipshits

  1. "Easter is a very special day for me...and I see it's sorta in that timeline that I'm thinkin' about... and I say wouldn't it be great to have all of those churches full?"

"Packed churches all over our country!"

Church services might be still be online, but you can’t cancel Easter. People can and do worship from their homes.

President is just offering hope, something to look forward to, even if it’s doubtful social distancing would be lifted.

You have a very strange concept of hope.

Sounds to me like a property developer over promising and under delivering repeatedly.

Imagine you bought a Trump marketed property and two years after scheduled completion 50 things were not done yet, all he is doing is exactly the same as he had done with home owners who have been lied to from the outset.

Now these guys buy off a couple of owners to with a sweet deal (or promise of one) to trash angry owner meetings, cause mayhem to break the spirit or organised resistance. You are of those plants/moles in a way.

Trump has sued and been sued more times than the top 3 (vastly larger) property development companies combined. Because he is a sleazy conman. You will own your complicity in this one day and you won't like it.

  5. I am waiting for the miracle where I put lamb's blood on my door and the Corona virus shall pass over my home...

Hello American’s, I bring you news that no one will like, the Coronavirus has ravaged the world, every country is battling with this new disease and apparently whatever safeguards, social distancing measures we feel are appropriate, in hindsight we find ourselves behind the curve.

In that light, I’m advising everyone to lock themselves inside their home for at least 3-4 months as the virus burns itself out on those unfortunate to have already contracted this deadly disease. Hopefully those quarantined will emerge to find the virus has died and what remains of the world’s population can rebuild, as the economic powerhouse that was once this nation will be a thing of the past.

Also, the health care providers are quarantining themselves in order to provide care once this world pandemic has passed, you will have to treat yourself as best you can.

    There is no hope,

    God rest your souls.

That better? Is that what everyone wants to hear?

Also in reply to the OP’s title.

You can’t cancel Easter. It’s already happened. Tis’ like saying we’re gonna cancel 4th of July.

You may not agree with the way Trump says things. But someone needs to give people hope, when so many are just stating grim facts.

There are no facts, no absolute truth in today’s society. Everything’s perception, narrative driven and popular opinion.

The news, information is given in a way to support or sway public opinion and actions.

So you're saying we can't count the infected or the dead because that's not factual and narrative driven?

You can count anyway you want. I’m just saying when a news source quotes figures, they don’t stop with the number. It’s always in comparison with something else, given either a positive or negative spin that supports the underlying narrative of source.
