Hi, Looking to devise some trading strategies... Anybody know where I can get stats on how stocks performed after earnings releases? I. E. average moves up, down, how long the moves lasted for, etc... Ideally, long term data over multiple market cycles Thanks
That's hard work you must do yourself, and hope for an edge. This is hard business, no one is going to share their hours of research and say, "here you go bud, make some money on me."
Actually I had not noticed the nickname is "Abundance Magnet". I hope the conclusion won't be "the LOA does not work" if people do not start queuing up to hand over their findings.
Thats your mindset and that's too bad. It's an abundant world. There are lots of ppl out there that share their findings. Books, websites, interviews, etc... I'm also happy to pay for research. Eg buying bukowski's books. At the end of the day, the best traders take the information and create their plan based on how they interpret the data. Even then, ppl can't follow instructions, let alone their own plan consistently.
Come on, their quarterlies are for shit" A trader should base his or her trading game plan based on more normal everyday happenstance; -- the Quarterly game is more for gamblers, or amateur traders.
AM, My biggest trading edge exploits this common "event".... "Zacks" website has all the dates you will require to start your research project. Good luck....
Sorry to say, but Mother Theresa is dead, Ive been researching markets for more than a decade and no one, except people that worked hard with me, ever gave me anything.
