These people are hilarious. Dr Dre is claiming his daughter got into USC all on her own and was trolling the leftists who bribed their way into these Universities.

If you read through the article it then says he donated $70 million to USC. Good on Dre to come up from Compton and put together a fortune where he is able to donate $70 million, but don't lecture us about how your daughter got there on her own. Believe me, the admission staff knew who Dre was, they knew who his daughter was, and they knew about the $70 million dollar donation. They would probably like to get a few more of them in future too.

"Dre, who is from Compton, has made multiple donations to schools in Southern California, including a $10 million donation to Compton High School for a performing arts complex in 2017 and a $70 million donation to USC to create a new arts, technology and business academy in 2013. The latter gift came from both Dre and music producer-turned-entrepreneur Jimmy Iovine."

It really is a clear indication that it does not matter the color of your skin or your past actions, if you have money and give to the right people, they will welcome you into the club with open arms.

Club or no club... daughter or no daughter...
I have to say if I had Dre's money I hope I would be as generous to schools.
What a great thing to do.

I don't get it. I went to USC and love my school but this idea that USC is difficult to get into or that someone has to pay $500k to get their kid in is just strange. I was admitted without SAT or ACT scores. It was regarded as an easy admission compared to UCLA across town.

People are now thinking that USC is something like Yale. Like I said I love my old school but USC is not Yale.

My wife went there so we have been looking at it for our kids...
In some majors many might consider USC one of the 30 top 20 schools.

The University of Spoiled Children has definitely tighten up their game. In some of the programs it’s tougher to get into then UCLA.. It’s still a ripoff compared to UC.
