Dont believe Democrats about the Supreme Court- they lie !

  1. Its a fact- 9 out of 10 times, when the president belongs to the same party as the senate majority, a new supreme court justice is elected just prior to a new presidential election.
Obama pushed for a new supreme court nominee prior to the 2016 election but it didnt go through because the republicans held the senate majority. If the dems controlled the senate, you better believe obama would of pushed that nominee through. The dems are conveniently leaving that fact out.

Obama's nominee did not go through because Obama's nominee was completely unqualified. The pick was even worst than Harriet Myers.

That's not true. He was a partisan choice by Obama and leans very, very left but is nonetheless qualified as a justice. He was strongly anti-2A, pro-government on whistleblower cases, and helped to decide Guantanamo Bay prisoners cases would not be heard by the courts. He's SUPER big government which is exactly what you'd expect from Obama who's merits include some of the toughest changes to whistleblower laws in the last century (though, to his benefit Obama was a boon to the firearms industry and Trump on the other hand is a wildcard bordering on anti-2A).

It was simple circus partisanship. RNC controlled the senate and in order to punish him for Obamacare and giving the banks trillions instead of bailing out the people they immediately voted him down.

This is no different than what a DNC controlled senate would've done this election cycle if they had the chance. They just have their panties in a twist because the rules they play by only apply to them and everyone else has to be fair.

If it was a partisan choice by Obama than by definition he was totally unqualified.

  9. You are missing the point. All presidents who can nominate a supreme court nominee and share the same party as the senate majority always nominate just before a new presidential election. 9 out of 10 times.
They never wait for the results of the election or for a new president to start his term. Thats total bs.
Obama tried to pull it off.
