Trickle down economics don't work because...... Taxpayers Still Funding Trump’s Court Battle Against Rape Accuser Taxpayers are continuing to fund Donald Trump’s court fight against a woman who accused him of rape — and her attorneys are arguing that the Justice Department’s involvement is both “wrong and dangerous.” Author and journalist E. Jean Carroll accused Trump in a 2019 book of allegedly raping her years earlier in a dressing room in a Manhattan department store. Trump slammed her as a liar, adding: “She’s not my type.“ Carroll sued him for defamation. In a highly controversial move, the DOJ stepped in to defend Trump against the defamation suit, claiming his denunciation of Carroll was part of his official duties. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, however, blocked the move, ruling last year that Trump’s insults had absolutely “no relationship to the official business of the United States.”
I’d rather a corporation/business owner have my money than the government where I 100% know it will be mismanaged
What if a significant amount of a corporation's (even one you might work for) sales are TO government?
That’s not the case for most companies.so, I don’t see the upside. why hurt 98 businesses just to benefit 2 slightly?
I'm not sure about that. Even the local restaurants and flower shops make sales to local government. Are they significant? Perhaps not, though the owners might disagree. But they are the small employers, anyway.
define wealth. is a 500K wealth? is a million wealth? is 10 million wealth? you can do all 3. get a job and a paycheck (trickle down), save, invest (trickle down), boom. trickle down economics at work. and you can super boost it if your kid takes over your wealth, then there kid takes there wealth... then you're talking big time millions. it works. nobody said anything about how long it takes but it works and its simple.
