Trading doesn't make one a racist, but there appear to be an awful lot of racists who are traders, just as there are lots of racists in all sorts of occupations.

Using the word "nigger" is not in itself racist since it is a colloquial form of "Negro". What can make the word racist is its usage and intent.

    For example:

    • Meet David Marsters, Republican running for selectman in Sabbatus, Maine. Dave seems like a nice conservative candidate for office from a nice conservative New England town, on the high end of middle-aged, grey hair, twinkling eyes, winning smile.

Last month he posted a picture of President Obama on his Facebook page with the caption “Shoot the nigger.”

      Isn’t that sweet?

Isn’t it great that we live in a country where a guy running for public office in the 21st Century can post something like that without a shred of shame? God bless America.

I would love to see your statistical evidence to back up that claim. Hell I would even enjoy just watching you struggle to make it up.

  4. Good concept! (After all, Odumbo is a TRAITOR to America... unless, of course, he's not really a US citizen... then he'd be only an Islamic terrorist.)

Could have communicated the same without racial overtones.

Does asking ridiculous questions make you an imbecile?

no. can you figure the purpose of ridiculous questions?
smart people know the purpose of imbecilic questions.

  8. No . . . but ask the question anyway.

OK, since everyone is ducking the topic of the thread, can someone walk me through the correlation between trading and racism. Obviously it's BS, but the entertainment value alone of listening to someone rationalize it might be worth a Friday afternoon distraction.
