Impossibly easy works, it's about all that works so don't rule it out totally. If not, if the trade works even if 50/50 on work, if you can establish an entry with 50/50 odds win/lose but very good odds it'll go 2x's+ on the profit side then bingo.
A broken clock works twice a day. The only thing in the world that works 100% of the time is DEATH. The more I trade, more I realize just about anything can work under right conditions, what allows us to continue is learning how to risk since we can control some of this, we can't control any part of profit, we can back test and get ideas of possibilities. I think all of us have bought the high tick or sold lowest tick at one time or another, risk done correctly allows us to be able to be here again tomorrow. Newer indicators=if large traders not using them, small volume is not going to push the price anywhere.
p.s. your chart likely isn't got lucky, you've looked back and found 1 where it fits, look back again and count the triggered and failed and the works.

I never believed in trading psychology or books there of for myself, and yes I bought Douglas' first book and even Van Thorp material, the latter was so heavy became a door stop when it was windy and Douglas' book became kindling. And yes, in my latter years, most books found their way into fireplace including Al Brook's. And now I don't buy any books on trading. If it is new, most likely it never will work, and if it is old, been written much. For myself, hypnosis for the subconscious works better. To each's it own.
