I did wonder, what's left? They've been wanting to seize assets and transfer them to Ukraine but perhaps were waiting for the perfect excuse to do so

It was reported this morning that Moscow has more cash than it has ever had, thanks to oil sales to India.

Boycotts only work if everyone sticks w/them. Mohdi the fascist unfortunately finds a kindred spirit in Putin.

Globalization has definitely made sanctions less of a punishment. The global trade system we now have doesn't stop the sanctioned countries from purchasing your products, it just adds a middleman to the transaction and maybe a time delay. Import tariffs are the tool to use for punishment but they only work if you are in fact already importing products from the country you're wanting to punish.

No one will support a morally bankrupt country that lies about everything.
The Reagan Star Wars arms race ended the Soviets.
WEF says we don't need the general population anymore (ask any Ukraine soldier), so enough with these conventional limited proxy wars.

We are buying a lot of that oil from India ourselves, lol.

Civilization has its own energy needs independent of humanity's desires. I know that sounds illogical, but it is the logic of "The Superorganism".

indirectly at the very least anyways (I know there's some mixing, arbitrage, and gray market shenanigans as well)....any oil not bought from Russia directly is bought indirectly from other markets whose product is being displaced by Russian oil....i.e. Saudi oil not being bought by the Indians.
