I am curious if anyone here has had success with SpeedTrader's Platform? When I was trading with them I was having better luck with little Just2Trade and their commission rates while using Esignal as a back-up data supplier. How did Speed-Trader go from being one of the lowest cost Brokerages to charging what the Professionals at IB, Trade Station and Light Speed Charge? I liked this Broker until they perpetually started raising their commissions and data feeds (It felt like month after month). Do you use Speed Trader and did you get them to give you the same rate as Just2Trade (Your paying for your Data Feeds, why can't they match it?). I am not bashing Speed Trader, I think they have great potential if they returned to their roots instead of charging the same price for Elite Platforms (Light Speed, IB, Trade Station ect...). I hope Tradier works out for me, my account with Options House is now live, will let you know how their operate. I have access to crisp data, we shall see. I average 30 to 250 contracts each trade, some days I am hitting (2000 contracts on small options), the price structure shall be interesting to see if Options House is able to save me enough to buy additional data and newsletters. I posted examples, if you have gotten a better price rate from Speed Trader please let me know, I would think of opening a account again if their platform got fixed. OptionsHouse Speed Trader 50 contracts is $16.45 versus $4.49 + $.50 is $29.95 200 $38.95 versus $104.95 Their data is decent when it works, it runs over $300 for Stock and Option plus Pink Sheets. *Waived for clients who generate commissions of $499 that month. "
FYI and assuming the transaction goes through, OptionsHouse and TradeMonster will be merging in the coming months. I don't know which company will be calling the shots, but since they seem to target a similar customer base, I suspect one of the platforms will be killed to save overhead.
I opened account at Tradier for a month and been very happy. I opened with them only for the .35 contract price. They still do not have a mobile app.
TrendPlayer, I avoid execution from mobile too. I mainly use OptionVue. Good stable desktop product. Its beats all the products from the big online brokers.
If OptionHouse and TradeMonster are merging it's not a good fit, OptionMonster's commission would double or quadruple OptionsHouse's Commission rate. Are you day trading Options with a Mobile Platform? You have some Brass to day trade off a cell, in 1990 I was trading with Lombard Securities $15.00 using key-pad technology with a Esignal Quotron, that was insane! Anyone know anything about E-Option with their $3.00 plus $.10 per contract platform? Their Platform look's good if the $25,000 PDT Balance does not bother you. If Option Monster pushes their commission structure I can always jump ship to another Brokerage (Tradier, IB or LightSpeed). Thank's for your ideas! Peace and wealth you all the friends on Elite Trader!
