I like 'em for front squats and deadlifts when I don't have access to a bar. More ergonomic than using a heavy dumbbell. But I have no interest in swinging them around!
Great for exercises with extra stability thrown in.... kettlebell snatches when you dont have a barbell or kettlebell shoulder presses are great for grip and wrist and shoulder mobility. Kettlebell swings are not bad for a nice HITT workout when done right. I mean I can show pics of guys swinging dumbbells around like idiots to say dumbbells look silly ha ha
