Hi, I would like to find a prop because their comission scheme but I need to use a vertical depth of market tool where I could enter orders with mouse clicks.

It´s a well known tool but surprisingly the most common platforms the props usually offer (DAS, Takion, Sterling, Fusion) don´t offer such simple tool.

Tradestation has Matrix, IB has BookTrader, TOS also has that feature, but I´m frustrated I can´t find a prop offering such software.

I would be ok if I could link any platform with this vertical DOM to any prop.

This way I could use Multicharts, Ninjatrader, Realtick, etc...

    Would appreciate any help.

    Many thanks!!!

As you mentioned. Prop usually trade on Sterling etc.
On sterling you can use buttons on level 2 if using / clicking mouse is so important. But not better to just use hot keys instead?

    Hi arna,

Well it´s a completely different aproach to scalping if you use a vertical DOM or ladder. It has huge advantages:

    - You don´t need to touch the keyboard. So no errors, no attention, no missing time... You charge your lot in the platform and every click send/move/cancel an order at the desired price. You can trade with one hand hehehe.

    - You enter, move and cancels de orders with one hand and super fast. You don´t need to move your eyes from the ladder.

    - And you have a much better idea of how the stock is moving in fast movements or sudden movements. It´s completely visual.

Trading is about taking so many things in consideration, with a ladder you save a lot of efford and attention. You are much faster you have a better feeling of what´s going on.

I think it is rather things that you get used to :) all good what works for you. I don't think you will find solutions for u in prop. Better use brokers that you mentioned.

You are right, the best tool is the one that works for you.

I sent you a message on private threat asking you some other information.

    Would appreciate your answer.

    Thanks!

@piyayo , may I ask what instruments you trade via DOM? It appears DOM order entry is more popular with Futures where there's a centralized market, but not so much with equities.

European stocks. As here in Euronext we don´t have that soup of ECNs that USA has, it´s a centraliced market also. Here if you enter your order first in one price the first order that hits that price will be your fill
