Does any hedge fund use Interactive Brokers ?

I heard IB is marketing their prime broker business and bought FutureTrade a while back. Does this mean IB is a good candidate as a prime broker ?

Does any hedge fund actually use IB ?

If not, what is missing ?

 

Tradestation is now marketing prime services too for the small hedge fund guys who wouln't get a response from the bigger ones. I think IB is also marketed toward the little guy too.

 

depends on how you define hedge funds.. in the most broad sense, yes

 

Does Interactive Brokers (IB) introduce Clients to you (as a money manager, such as CTA, etc) if you use IB as the executing FCM?
