Do you trade every single day?

It has become my disease that I can’t stay comfortable without opening even a single trade every single day.

 

You might be a gambler, try to stay away from it for a few weeks, if you see yourself betting again during that period look for help.

Notice that I said betting not trading. Day Trading = Betting

 

Forex I trade every day. Stocks once a week or less.

 

Yes, even for the futures traders. Stocks, not so much.

What a strange problem.

Day traders trade (stocks, options, futures, currencies) every single day.
We cannot trade for just a day, and for the rest of the week, we laze around doing nothing / other things.
If you are a day trader but unable to trade every day, then give up day trading.

Similarly, if you were an employee of a manufacturing company/service industry,
you cannot work for a day and
for the rest of the week, you laze around doing nothing / other things.

 

Trade every day? Technically no. Some days nothing, other days one or more (futures) trades. Depends completely on market conditions and set ups.

 

Day traders ... trade.

Does a Fireman say to himself, I don't think I'll fight any fires today (of course excluding days off).

Or ... a
Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief,
Or what about a cowboy, policeman, jailer, engine driver, or a pirate chief?
Or what about a ploughman or a keeper at the zoo,
Or what about a circus man who lets the people through?
Or the man who takes the pennies on the roundabouts and swings,
Or the man who plays the organ or the other man who sings?
Or what about the rabbit man with rabbits in his pockets

No, I don’t trade every single day rather I mostly trade on Thursday and Friday.

 

hmmm... why don't you trade the other days... why just these 2.. do you daytrade futures?

I mostly trade GOLD and you know how volatile Gold is and I find several trading opportunities everyday even though I don’t take them all.
