keyword, "believe", kind of hard to prove, do you believe in love? Why not? I have abandoned Him so many times, but He has always been faithful to me. Man I sure miss my old dog. Oh well, he's dead, but on a lonely night I can still talk to God and he will always listen. Difference is, my dog took after me. He was always trying to scam you for something (usually food) but God is the only one I have ever met who really doesn't seem to have a scam going. It's easy to believe in someone who doesn't exist. They can never disappoint you or reject you. At least my God won't. I suppose it depends on what kind of a God you create.
I believe in God, or some other kind of divine power. I personally have witnessed divine coincidences...after I have embraced God, or that divine power. etc misc You need to truly embrace religion/spiritualism in your everyday full life -- not just only in times of need or confusion...for it to...work. ...The lord works in mysterious ways..."
