If you are going to buy CFD prop firm challenges, pay the extra money for FTMO or the 5ers.

They are the OG and actually pay out.

Their logos were created with AI tools in 2 minutes. Says a lot.

  5. My advice for everyone is NOT to sign up for prop firms.

These days it is hard to trust any broker or prop firm when its come to research the right broker/prop firm, since many firms/brokers joining the industry everyday while a lot of them winding up as well.

Apex only started operating in 2021 and their cheap evals are huge red flags.

Choose a firm which has longevity and/or more expensive evals.

In the CFD prop space, FTMO has been around since 2015, the 5ers have been around since 2016. People complain about the prices of their evals, but this ensure they have the capital to actually pay out winning traders.

In the futures prop space, Topstep has been operating since 2012.

  8. Also if a firm is only a FX prop firm, generally stay away. If you want to trade FX in a prop I'd recommend sticking to the ones that offer Index Futures as well. Not a perfect rule but good enough for a proper start

One big advantage of FX prop firms over futures prop firms is they allow swing trading.

So I think FTMO and 5ers definitely have their place.
