Boasting up to 165 Hz refresh rate, blue light filter, 0.5m dpi with eye care blah blah blah, ALL bullcrap!!! The monitor is poorly made with color so bland and faint my eyes were hurting just looking at it for two minutes. It only gives a passable performance at 1080 HD resolution but at lower resolutions than that, the image is grainy and blurry you can hardly see anything. And what's worst is if you use a display port with the monitor, when you play just simple video, it will give you weird colours like green faces on people it's horrible. I have never had a monitor this bad. And it's totally shocking it's an ASUS. The last ASUS monitor that I had was the best that I ever had. Am so disappointed with this one. Amazon had it on special so I thought I was getting a good deal because monitors with similar features and functionalities were selling for much higher price now I know I really got what I paid for. Consider yourself warned. I am returning this garbage pronto.
strange ... I checked the review and many users said it was a great monitor. Time for you to send it for repair.
I bought it exactly for the positive review that's on the internet and plus my previous positive experience with ASUS monitors. But the internet review is obviously not true or I have just bought a lemon. I already wasted two days trying to work with this monitor. I even lost money trading with this shitty monitor because I couldn't see the price correctly because it was so faint. Not going to waste my time and effort repairing it. Pretty sure it was already a refurbished one that they were just trying to pass it off as a new one with the discount that they were selling it for. Just going to return the garbage.
That's too bad... asus is usually a great brand, my mobo is asus. For monitors I only use samsung now
I strongly suspect that the one that I bought was a refurbished one being passed off as a new one with the big discount that they were giving. My previous ASUS was super awesome and that's part of the reason why I bought this current one out of brand loyalty. But super disappointed.
