Do all (Upgrades/Downgrades/PT changes) are published in the EXT hours? and why? because I only see them in the pre market hours
It's easier to manipulate a move during low volume or after retail takes notice right before market opens. That's a lowkey pointless question.
Yes these notice are usually released outside Regular Trading Hours. Occasionally, there is a screwup and a company will accidentally release the notice during RTH.
%% Mainly because an analyst can downgrade post market hours on lousy earnings + outlook+ strangely get credit for the same day call. Sorta like /wait till close price + i can give you the close price 100% of the time.
I thing I regularly observe is that analyst firms that release up/downgrades are regularly trading in the stocks the night before the up/downgrade is released. You can observe this with the very unusual price/volume action in those stocks the night before.
