This one is starting to come on the piggy radar. I almost went short at $93ish but figured I'd give it some more time. Rightfully so.

Cramer drops his subtle memes about this thing daily. (good sign for shorts) No Divy... and a PE of 55. (Dollar General is 22).

Now they just wrapped up their acquisition of Family Dollar (FDO) and here's one thing. Family Dollar had lots of really bad locations in the sense many were in high crime areas. That's never good no matter how you slice it.

You know Cramer has this whole story wrong. DG and DLTR are NOT discount stores. They are more expensive than WMT. Their story is one of convenience. Every time he compares them to the likes of TJ Maxx etc, I just roll my eyes and say "Jimbo,... I know you like to portend being an average Joe on the street, ...but you need to get out and hang in the hood some more". Like I said... when I hear Cramer planting subtle memes... its time to get short.

We'll give it some more time... but this piggy is getting chunky.

 

Nice breakout and new all-time high for Dollar Tree $DLTR overall. I

 

I am not a big TA type, but I suspect this particular stock at this particular time (with earnings on the 25th) would be a prime candidate for some TA analysis and should behave "textbook" to any TA predictions for the next week or so.

Any TA pros wanna use your voodoo and have a go at it? I would be interested to see a good TA in action.

 

This one is almost too easy. Its a safe short.

 

$DLTR gross margins are lower after acquisition. The seasonality trend for $DLTR might surprise traders this year.

I knew it was too obvious. But I have never seen a perfectly vertical intra-day chart like this one. They must have used a straight edge. Shorting more @ 98.40 ish
