Does anybody know, why the company behind sierrachart.com has been closed in August 2021? And what consequences does the dissolution have for us, the SC users and customers? See the New Zealand company directories, e.g.: https://opencorporates.com/companies/nz/3054245
Well, I got the company from the last line of my Payment Notifications saying: "Sierra Pacific Software Ltd, trading as www.sierrachart.com". Maybe they had to open a new company in the US, since they now operate Servers and Direct Access to several Futures Exchanges. But there in Wyoming seems only a letterbox company with "Registered Agents Inc, World Wide Headquarters" in Sheridan, who offer solutions for such cases. I am wondering about any registration as a company. I cannot find it.
NOTE: I AM NOT 100% CERTAIN the findings I am posting are indeed THE Sierrachart trading software platform and associated services that are known to be based in NZ. I am laughing my ass off while making this post as I can't wait to see the wingnuts start posting who know absolutely nothing about business entities, foreign entities, registered agents, State specific business registration advantages, State specific rules and laws, federal laws, and likely at least a smattering of international business law, rules and requirements. As a kicker, IIRC, one the popular "combine" programs, I think E2T, uses (or did use) the same registered agent. LOL This thread could be become the most entertaining ET thread of 2023! Let's go... LMFAO! Viva Sierrachart!!! https://wyobiz.wyo.gov/Business/FilingSearch.aspx 30 N Gould St Sheridan, WY 82801 USA maps.google.com
According to the link https://www.datanyze.com/companies/sierra-chart/346031703 it seems the headquarter of sierra chart is here: 25 Dowgate Hl, London, Greater London, EC4R 2YA, United Kingdom +44 2075730555 But still no registered Ltd. or whatever it is.
Anthony SARAFA, ex-president of Sierra Pacific Software Ltd. is now president of Teton IT Management Services, the official operating contact of sierra chart in Wyoming.
Yes, you are right. But there is a company behind, which is developing SC and engineering, building and operating the complex infrastructure around the exchanges (data feeds, risk engines, order execution, ...), where direct access is offered. Of course a broker is needed for your trading account, who is technically collaborating with SC.
