It's the house and senate races that will get hurt. The dems did well in the midterms because the lefties had nothing to unleash their hostility on other than the house and senate races. That was the only place they could unload their cash. But it is not that way in a presidential year. Having been thoroughly screwed by the DNC, the dems have figured out that they can just give directly to the candidate or some PAC and that they can hold off to the last minute to see who looks good and like a winner. But that does not generate any cash to pass along to state races as contributions to the dnc used to do, before Hillary required that the state cut had to go to her. Frig em. Both the DNC and the RNC are dud-producing entities anyway. Ideally they would just do no harm and not actively work against the only candidate that could win. The RNC could not even meet that low bar.
