Hi Folks, Do you know any good sources of tips for discretionary trades. (Ideally professional) I had a small amount of money with a third party that brought my attention to BREXIT in 2016, and I was just reflecting that it would probably be a good idea to be have multiple channels to garner such discretionary opportunities in future.
Each end of month, look at macro charts on a monthly time frame. When you see a breakout, dig dipper into the industry, sector. Buy the leaders. Sell the laggards. It's free. Simple. Easy. Curious. How did you profit from the "BREXIT" news ? Looking @ the GBP on a monthly chart, once a month. You could have sold it in Jan, May or June 16' Also "BREXIT" was all over the place. So if you hear something of importance, Check charts that might be impacted by it. If the chart doesn't breakout on the monthly. It's a non consequential event.
Each fed session is an opportunity, but read it closely yourself, don't listen to opinions and ask yourself if they say what the market expected them to say (aka no change) worse (aka dollar bearish) or better...
Hi sorry for the delay. Simple straddle trade with trailing stop. Didn't make anything to write home about.
