Is it normal practise to share source code with the house. I have just finished work on my trading algorithm, and they will provide support for me to write the code. I have a job at a Prop here, I wish to keep my core strategies and code to myself, since i consider them my intellectual property, mediocre or not. I have developed them trading on my own account, but will join this firm next. What is the standard practise? Some things I am comfortable with sharing, some I am not, i have to decide between joining them by this week i guess. I will be working on the code mostly alone, at least on the algorithm part. Could someone please share standard practises regarding this? What should I look out for in the contract
