I do not follow Kramer's position, but I cannot stand him; I get constant pitches from him and CNBC to be "pro" and pay some money - no thank you, I do not watch his show, but unfortunately, he is on squawk box too.
Why the hate? I mean his stock picks are oftentimes not the best, but it's not easy doing a 1 hour show every night ya know. Two things he's really good for and the reason I dvr the show... one, his opening 5 minutes of his macro take on things, and two, his ceo interviews. One just needs to know how to read Cramer. For example: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/gba-presents-radio-savant.367042/page-1138#post-5735595 20% upside later... But to each their own I guess. And tbh, I think he does lack street-smarts. Not Wall Street, but hood-street. He's not alone in that however, pretty much goes with the territory in those circles I've found. Ya just gotta know how to read him, just like you have to know how to read his guest ceo's. Either way, like him or not, he's a pretty smart guy. Anyone that would deny that, has no street smarts either.
He rants and is out of control all the time. He looks like fucking Lenin, for one...talks so fast that he is not easy to follow, how the fuck would anyone with his speech impediment be on the National cable show? Just to mention DIS. I think DIS is a legacy company, but that is just me. Not even dividends...
Bought DIS at 100 near the Covid lows and have been holding the entire time. Rode it to 197, but kept holding...never even collected a dividend. Sold some calls against it, but basically dead money.
