Leave colour, gender, and politics out of it. We have a highly successful basketball player who made a small mistake, and a politician / business guy Trump who has committed numerous crimes in broad daylight. Which person should be in jail ? Pretty clear really and an American system that let's guys like Trump skate by is why guys like Trump exist. The man is a psychopath who feels invincible to punishment.

Americans 100% have a say over Canadians. We provide protection for your country. As long as my tax dollars are going towards providing your national security, Americans have a say.

Someday America will just annex Canada and the Canadians can stop pretending.

  7. Considering that they are being prosecuted under different justice systems in two separate countries, how is this question at all relevant to the practical reality?

except no Russian ever got the sentence she got over the same offense.

  9. So? I fail to see what this thread is getting at. To point out that the world is unfair? Trying to compare Trump not being indicted to Griner's imprisonment just comes across as a false analogy.

it was a dig at one of your previous "don't do the crime if you can't do the time in Russia" posts in another thread.
