Yahoo Finance is showing extended trading past 8pm for GOOGL. When I Google "after-hours trading" it says 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET.
Overnight trading on NYSE and NASDAQ stocks is now available from 8:00PM to 3:50AM, Sunday to Thursday nights.
Took them long enough.....should have done extended hours trading 29 years ago... Robinhood and I believe interactive brokers pushed this extended hours trading by offering 24 hrs 5 days a week ...if it weren't for them there wouldn't have been extended hours trading into the overnight. They should just make it 24/7 trading already....let's goooooo.... because thats where it is headed soon. I mean with the markets up and printing green upside every single second of the day, might as well make it free money 24/7.
Should I request this option from my provider ? Also, my provider is Fidelity Investment, does it provide ? Thank you, in advance.
On Schwab its on their active trader settings, Just reach out to fidelity support and let them show you or answer any of your questions. Also order placing during pre or after hours can be different than during the day due to thin markets and order placement rules, plus going from evening to daytime i have to readjust on Schwab, maybe the same or different? Cheers
