Deval Patrick 2020

Discussion in 'Politics' started by TreeFrogTrader, Nov 13, 2019.

  1. The New Crock Times alleges that Deval is going to enter the race tomorrow.

I hope he knows that the blacks all belong to Joe. Yup, it's written right there in the DNC Plantation Handbook. Article 2 Sec 3. No fucka wit Joe's chattel's.

I don't what is and is not reliable from the NYT, but I think that the deadline for filing in New Hampshire is Friday so he needs to get moving one way or the other if he is in. He talks about skipping Iowa and NH so maybe it is or is not important to him. Lot of dumb campaigns being run.

Deval Patrick Will Enter 2020 Presidential Race on Thursday

I know nothing about this guy, have to read up on him. But holy shit, he sounds like a dweeb with that voice.

Still, I promise to examine his positions without holding the whiny voice against him.

  3. He is in.

Deval Patrick jumps into Democratic presidential nomination race

Nobodyl loves Deval as much as Valerie Jarrett. So now we play the game of Obama not-supporting any candidate while it is welll establshed that he and Obamaville are tighter than a bulls arse at fly-swatting time.

At least we won't be talking about Stacy Abrams today, and how can that be a bad thing?

We are talking serious excitement here in Camp Obama although they feel obligated to put a good face on the Joe Scam.

Devel Patrick got problems too though. But he will get a big media bounce. He is the first one to come into the race that people want to look over to see if he is their salvation. Salvation from the other dems, not from just Trump.

I hope there will be no open self stimulation on MSNBC today, or any day,

Devel got issues though. Those will get addressed along the way. Just not today.

  4. Heh. That promise gonna require a lot of discipline.

He definitely needed to go to some clinic in south florida and have a dweebectomy before announcing. Too late for that I guess.

  5. Y'all just remember that Bain Capital is not just some capitalist, greeby, pig outfit where Mitt Romney worked/founded.

It is a forward looking, next-century company where Deval Patrick is the Managing Director of community enhancement projects.

Got it? Cue cards are available from the Deval campaign to help get you started.
Just follow the script that you are given, and use "carbon neutral, climate change, income opportunities, and green" profusely to pretty it up a bit. Then use "inclusive" as sort of a gut punch if you meet any resistance.

  6. As discussed above, this Deval thing is steeped in Camp Obama.

But he is quirky and late to the party. Nevertheless, if y'all are just coming up to speed on Deval. You can read this and get there faster if you don't know that there is a long kissy-faced relationship between Deval and Obama.

I am pretty sure that Valerie Jarrett has a full sized cut-out of him in her living room and two in the bedroom.

Not to worry Joe. Just put some records on and chill a bit. Poky, you just keep shakin and twitchin your head and come up with a policy to deal with this.

  7. I haven't followed Patrick's career closely. Where does he slot into the dem candidate craziness spectrum? Is he closer to the Tulsi "not obviously insane" side or the Bernie "I want to see your kids in gulags" end?

  8. He is not over with Bernie and Warren. He is what the dems call a moderate these days and is- compared to the Che Guevera bunch.

Deval has been two term guv of Mass so at least has exec experience.

He has had some heavy duty capitalist affiliations which will keep him from getting too holier than thou in some areas. He is with the much-dreaded Romney Bain Capital now, and formerly chief counsel for Texaco and did plenty of oil deals and mergers with Chevron etc. Ameriquest crap. etc. So there is that but allegedly did lots of environmental stuff as guv.

Out of all the candidates he is probably making the least loony move. He knows he is coming in too late to be prez, but there is no one who can even come close to him when he wants the VP slot. Not booker, not klobuchar, not the Castro Boy, not Skankala, not Stacey Abrams and so on down the line. So he may be making a sane move, if he would be happy to be the VP nominee. Otherwise, not going to work that well, or at least the odds are against him.

He was elected off of white votes in Mass, so he has that going for him. What will be interesting is that on Super Tuesday, mass voters will be voting for the dem nominee and both Deval and Poky are Mass residents. So she is going to lose her own home state. Of course she would anyway. Everyone hates Warren, they just find her potentially useful in beating Trump and sounding progressive. So Mass will probably get split up bigtime because there are lots of Biden voters there too. They like Deval more than Warren- or at least that used to be the case- maybe she has become more likeable- doubtful- but they will have to think about whether a vote for Deval is wasted or not if they dont think Deval can win.

It's a mess. Big winner is Deval if he wants to be VP. Big loser. Stacey Abrams.

Oh, and the usual lefty suspects here will just focus on whether Deval can capture SC blacks. Nope, that's a racist view. Deval does white educated voters very well and will cut into White Boy Buttigeg too.

He be having personal issues and scandals too. I am letting him have his little announcement high today but don't think I dont know about some of them.

  9. Yes, rich white suburban voters love the idea of voting for a clean, well-spoken black man who does not have an arrest record. It's almost like having a black friend, their lifelong dream.

LOL. That was my first impressions as well. Wow, that voice is annoying. I watch a show with him on it this morning for like 5 minutes. I hardly know anything about him. From the 5 minutes, it seems like he is more moderate than the rest of the field which leads me to assume that the far left wackos will not have anything to do with him. But, we will see.
