Depth of ES and NQ changing Quicker on IB?

It appears that the dept of market is changing MUCH more rapidly today than usual.

Is there a glitch somewhere, a new way of IB sending the datafeed, or just increased volatility?

 

I've noticed this as well. On stocks and futures. I'm guessing IB upgraded their datafeed.

 

IB changed some server software. the quotes do updates much quicker now.
