A blatant and cheesy attempt to compensate for their last nominee giving the finger to Wisconsin and an obvious attempt to regain that state. Whatever. Who cares. Go to Wisconsin, nominate one of your lefty clowns and do what you gotta do. Oh, and maybe you can have AOC speak at the convention about how we need to eliminate cows. That should be a winner in Wisconsin. Because they care more about transgender bathroom issues than cows in Wisconsin, uh huh. I am writing that down. Just don't invite Hillary to the convention. That will eliminate one cow right theya. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/mil...ic-national-convention-site/story?id=61606127
The Dems wanted to hold a convention close to what Trump had called the 'Eighth Wonder of the World.' Inside Wisconsin’s Disastrous $4.5 Billion Deal With Foxconn “This is the Eighth Wonder of the World.” So declared President Donald Trump onstage last June at a press event at Foxconn’s new factory in Mount Pleasant, Wis. He was there to herald the potential of the Taiwanese manufacturing giant’s expansion into cheesehead country. He’d joined Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou and then-Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker to celebrate a partnership he’d helped broker—“one of the great deals ever,” Trump said. In exchange for more than $4.5 billion in government incentives, Foxconn had agreed to build a high-tech manufacturing hub on 3,000 acres of farmland south of Milwaukee and create as many as 13,000 good-paying jobs for “amazing Wisconsin workers” as early as 2022. ..... --------- --------- .....(and then it went to %$%#, Trump style).
Minneapolis would have been more appropriate. No doubt they would be well received in Omar's district, assuming the Somali gangs had a spot on the convention stage.
Yup, except I think Minneapolis is a No-Go Zone now and the local imam may not have given permission. We have to be sensitive to that type of thing. Americans cannot just be trotting in there like it is part of their country or something.
It really is a mixed bag, historically, but you got to try. Philadelphia has a terrible track record, too.
