That's already been done... So much of this economy is State directed and with the inflationary monetary policy and all the regulations
Obama said he was going to "fundamentally transform America". I thought he was just milk toast, but he really did a LOT of damage to our country and was "too successful" on his pledge to fundamentally reform us, sad to say.
and so did Trump. Both damaged our country in a huge way, allbeight differently. Though Trump did a little more good than Obama overall. Very sad times
Some big companies are expected to be taken over by the state.BTW,buy new energy electric vehicles and AR related stocks.
Well, we've got a situation now where the federal government needs to run trillion dollar annual budget deficits (roughly 5% of GDP), just to maintain the status quo and eek out 2% economic growth. So, there is clearly something going on here that is unsustainable under the current "capitalist" model...I've noticed in recent years that this "capitalist" model also seems to require bailouts that are increasing in both size and frequency. Four years ago, we were told that the problems facing America were caused by too much big govt, and if we just cut taxes, cut regulations, and put a businessman in the White House, we would be enjoying 4-5% GDP growth - as a matter of fact, we would experience so much economic growth that the tax cuts would "pay for themselves" (Trump, Cohen, Kudlow, Mnuchin). Well, none of these things came to pass. In the last 20 years, I've seen the cost of healthcare insurance increase from a reasonable $200 per month to $1000 per month for the exact same coverage. A self-employed middle class man trying to insure a family of four needs to come up with nearly $3000 per month. How is this possibly sustainable? Go drive around your local city, or take a walk through your local Wal-Mart or Target. Observe how the people around you look. Observe the quality of products on the shelves. Look at all of the people sleeping on the streets. Does 2020 capitalist America look like an exceptional country anymore to you? It certainly does not look exceptional to me. Some change of course is long overdue.
How much does a middle class family of 4 make today? How much will it make under Biden's socialism? Who will help a middle class family of 4 under Biden's socialism?
