Pressley calls for ‘unrest’ – and no Dem will call her out https://www.bostonherald.com/2020/08/22/pressley-calls-for-unrest-and-no-dem-will-call-her-out/ Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, a Democrat from Massachusetts, went on national TV to declare “Communities from Boston to Portland are rising up.” She then brazenly called for “unrest in the streets.” As if on cue, anarchist thugs in Portland, Ore., did just that. They dragged a couple from their pickup truck, assaulted the woman, then repeatedly beat the defenseless man within an inch of his life, all caught on camera. There was nary a cop in sight as Ted Wheeler,the Democratic mayor of Portland, had weeks before ceded the streets to the mob while restraining his police from keeping order, all the while blaming the unrest on a president three thousand miles away. Yet the sad truth is the anarchists didn’t need to hear the rhetoric of Pressley to inspire them to wreak havoc and viciously assault innocent bystanders. The surrender of city officials to the mob insured that they would. Nevertheless, the congresswoman’s noxious mantra is echoed by all too many in her party (calling U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, a Democrat from California) who dabble in such incendiary rhetoric. Last month, Democrats referred to the rioters who burned and looted cities as peaceful protesters. The month before that they simply ignored them. Now Ayanna Pressley has upped the ante, and we’re faced with the unprecedented spectacle of a sitting Massachusetts Congresswoman imploring roving bands of thugs to “Take to the streets.” What is glaring, if not reprehensible, is that no one in the Bay State’s Congressional Delegation — all Democrats — will utter a peep to call her out. Then again, why would they when their boss, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, remains mute to the pillaging of major West Coast cities? My, how times have changed. It’s highly improbable that former House Speaker Tip O’Neil would have sat passively while rioters ransacked cities. It’s a safe bet he would have banished any congressional Democrat who even hinted at praising such hooligans to a postal or public works subcommittee. Today the Ayanna Pressleys of Congress who encourage rioting under the guise of social justice are elevated to political stardom by a liberal media too complacent — or complicit — in their reporting, while their House colleagues are too timid to even think of reigning them in. We’ve down been this route of anarchy before. Anyone hovering near the Social Security threshold can remember the roughly four-year period from 1967-70 when rioting was much worse, and certainly more lethal, in both cities and colleges campuses. Detroit 1967 and Kent State 1970 come to mind. The only reason now why college campuses haven’t similarly degenerated into anarchy is the fact that students aren’t there due to the coronavirus pandemic shutdown. But rest assured, they’ll start soon. In the late 1960s Democratic officials across the board were adamant about maintaining law and order. Today they are not. We’re now witness to the spectacle of New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio defunding his police during a cycle of rioting, with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot chastising her police in the midst of a skyrocketing murder rate. It’s hard to picture their respective counterparts in 1968 — Mayor John Lindsay or Mayor Richard Daley –reigning in their police while rioters and crime rampaged through their cities. It’s even harder to picture Hubert Humphrey or George McGovern urging rioters to “Take to the streets.” But that’s the difference between Democrats then, and now. Nevertheless, we mustn’t delude ourselves into thinking that the current wave of domestic anarchy will end anytime soon. It won’t. So brace yourselves. These things usually occur in 50-year cycles, just as it occurred in 1919-20. So we’re about due for a stint of anarchic upheaval. If history is any indicator this is likely just the beginning. And right about now we’re at the 1967 stage. Yet as before, the nation will trudge along and come out fine in the end, despite the current roving bands of Maoist Red Guard wannabes torching our cities and attacking our fellow citizens, egged on by shameless politicians like Ayanna Pressley.
Pressley is clearly guilty of inciting riots. She, and other public figures who are endorsing and facilitating this violence need to be arrested and detained without bail pending criminal prosecution.
"DemoCraps causing riots"? Of course they are. They want power and control regardless of the consequences. They are willing to burn America to the ground so long as they get to rule over the ashes! DemoCraps... truly America's enemy within.

Democrats are funding the current riots and looting. They are doing this because they think it help will win the election even though Biden has just lately renounced it because polling said he should do so. And what in the heck do terrorists have to do with the current leftist riots? And where is the conclusive proof that any terrorist attack was done by a right winger? How was a right wing terrorist defined?
