Regardless of the circumstances, rioting and looting is never the appropriate behavior and yet no African American leadership ever condemned this form of behavior. Sadly, it has become the opposite with African Americans thinking it is their right to riot and loot. African Americans are becoming more and more marginalized because no other group, especially Latinos, want to be associated with them. I woudl arrest everyone in that video and then let them try and talk their way out of why they were not looting or accessories to looting. In LA its not just the idea of cops murdering black men, there are a lot of other tensions and they tend to get acted on as a whole. Not to mention that people have been locked down and many are unemployed. The grocery store thing is real. In south central people have to drive some distance for a proper grocery store. The cities of Inglewood and Compton have to offer tax incentives and other stuff to get a store to come in. The cops will let people tear up South LA but if they dare to come up so far as Rodeo Drive its like a military response.
