I had been debating on shorting this for a while ever since they pushed their extreme ideology which seems to only head toward going woke-broke in the end. We are now maturing to the point where the problems are arising. What happened in Toronto isn't just what I figured would happen about now, but should be the tip of the iceberg. I also feel there is far more drop for this company, which insists on riding the coat tails of Boeing's DEI problems, and even dare I say may be the next Bud Light? The stock is holding much better than I figured. Someone tell me why I am wrong and being bullish is in fact a better play. I just can't see how hiring on discriminatory agendas makes sense over people's merit and intelligence. In other words, what exactly did you THINK was going to happen here?
I think back to the Budweiser & P&G debacles of using quotas to hire people and investors don't care until revenues get hit. I remember P&G pushing women using their shaving products and PG stock didn't really go down until the men were turned off by their ads and decided to abandon it then PG stock took a hit. IBM & Intel used something like this in the past. I think definitely Intel eventually paid the price for it but it was also Executive malfeasance in my opinion. Boeing is just the latest of these fat & lazy companies doing such nonsense. I believe Boeing BoD & Executives should be fired and charged with malfeasance post haste.
I really don't care about the gender of their flight crew as long as they follow the rules and are competent. I put my life in their hands when I fly with them. If you only have a restricted ATP license and are not supposed to be the pilot in command, your a$$ better be in the co-pilot pussypit and not in the pilot one!! That rule was put in place for a reason. https://www.thrustflight.com/restricted-atp/
OP has “common sense.” All the problems in the world are caused by women and minorities. Never white men.
Watching video of Delta 4819 landing was Not on dry runway as Toronto Airport said. "Toronto Airport Fire Chief Todd Aitken said Monday that the runway was dry and there were no crosswind conditions at the time of the crash. When asked Tuesday if the runway had light snow or slush, he deferred the question to investigators." If you look at video, when landing huge spray of possible ice on right side. This certainly could of caused the plane to roll. Left side of plane tires rolling and right side less so or none. Fire chief am sure was told to say nada. There was ice everywhere when passengers getting out. Believe flight crew did great job getting everyone out and alive.
This has got to be one of the weakest trading premises I have ever seen. 1) Take a few or single instance(s) and draw a conclusion (fallacy #1) 2) Draw a conclusion to fit an echo chamber rant (fallacy #2) 3) Ignore the actual facts and have no knowledge about the subject matter (Fallacy #3) 4) Even if all those fallacies where not there, it is so weak that once the trade is on, there is no way to validate the premise. The only thing will be price action. So either waste your time or gamble to get a thrill. A thrill seek that brought you into the fallacies above.
It's Delta who wanted to remind everybody that with their woke advertising and policies. Don't want people to think diversity for the sake of diversity kills? Don't put it out there.
yeah. Diversity is the reason it happened. I assume you are a minority. Only a minority could be so dumb to believe in infinite gamma.
