Hi, I have TSG shares. The company (Stars Group) delisted from Nasdaq after the merger completed with Flutter. So how can I sell those TSG shares? Thanks!
Think you’ll have to contact your broker. From what I saw they were a share exchange so now you’d own Flutter on the LSE(London stock exchange).
Thank you, Yes I sent e-mail and I call them everyday but so far nobody answered. I have no idea what to do.
Depending on the merger deal terms. If it is an all cash, your broker will deposit the cash into your account, if it is a stock transaction, your TSG will be converted to the agreed exchange rate and your shares will become Flutter shares. If it is a combination of cash and shares, you will get cash and shares of Flutter in your account. In all cases you shouldn't have to do anything unless you don't have a broker and you hold TSG shares in share certificates. In that case you have to contact the agent handling the merger to settle.
Never had to deal with it myself but wouldn’t it require some work from the broker if they don’t offer LSE services?
Thanks again for the reply! Yes I saw the statement and it was an all shares transaction and the exchange rate was 0.2253. I just don’t know typically how long I have to wait until I can sell my shares. Plus can I trade on the London exchange with my brokerage account? So these questions I’d like to ask from my broker if somebody would pick up the phone.
All right then, I just wait. As a technical trader, usually I don’t read the company related news, so when I saw the shares are halting first then delisted I freaked out a little bit ,especially this is the first time happened to me. Then I researched and I calmed down. It’s just new to me this whole process. Thanks!
