Deflation probability spikes

  1. Playing around with the St Louis Fred data revealed:

    From the site: "This series measures the probability that the personal consumption
    expenditures price index (PCEPI) inflation rate (12-month changes)
    over the next 12 months will fall below zero."

    Now look at the current reading of the deflator:

    Now who can make a case for raising interest rates?
