Las Vegas Review Journal: “Democrat Lesia Romanov was the only candidate with a pulse in the race for Assembly District 36, but apparently that wasn’t enough to defeat deceased brothel owner Dennis Hof.” “Based on partial returns late Tuesday night, it appeared voters in the rural, heavily Republican district chose to elect someone no longer living rather than let the seat turn blue.” Party of Family Values even in death.
You think rural Republicans vote based on policies? A Democrat would win in any of these states if the ballot had a R next to their name by mistake. “Voters in Idaho, Nebraska and Utah on Tuesday were on track to approve what their Republican-led legislatures repeatedly would not: free or low-cost health coverage for most poor adults through an expansion of their Medicaid programs,” the New York Timesreports. “The three deep-red states are now poised to join 33 others that have already expanded Medicaid, an option under the Affordable Care Act since 2014.”
There are more democrats than republicans in Nevada, so your statement is not valid. https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/home/showdocument?id=5932
It would be nice to see a list of the prior occupations of all the elected officials. Hopefully they are not excluding Democrat felons and failing to mention Republican scientists and other positive Republican “milestones”. Interestingly, this article does talk about gender, religion, nationality, and racial “firsts”.
What’s wrong with being white? Aren’t there statistics somewhere that generally show Whites are at least competative in regards to being law abiding, productive, and in educational status? What’s wrong with being nationalistic? In at least most other countries, why shouldn’t the United States focus on what is in its best interests and that of its own citizens?
