Daytraders, When was the last time you stripped down to a naked chart and traded without indicators?

    ...Chart traded without indicators?
    Were you surprised?

Can Charts get busy with enough indicators that we walk right by low hanging fruit?
    Simple can be beautiful.

Your chart has candles, which are an indicator of sorts. Try trading off a line.

I did that about 2 decades ago.

I even stripped the annoying black background. Now it is light background.

I might have zig zag line but I hardly look at it

I personally trade with zero indicator, just price action.

The only thing on my daytrading charts are 1minute candles and volume. I also use the tape.

All that matters is price action.

I was going to say that "anybody using squiggly lines or indicators like vwap/ema for daytrading is a fcking moron", but I hesitated lol :D

Here's an example, sans text, just price and volume. Hint if you need indicators on charts for decision support you've already lost. IMG_20200702_140609_990.jpg

  10. I only trade naked charts. I tried the indicator stuff, and it is ok, just too much waiting around, and I like watching the bars move on the chart. I feel more in tuned with the market at the time I am watching.

I also do not like looking at multiple higher time frames. Too much messing around and too much decision making.

I like 1 chart, and 1 time frame.
